Who Can Apply?

Students who have completed a high school diploma or equivalent, or who present a certificate of a General Education Diploma, are eligible to apply for admission to the Institute for Christian Ministry. All courses are offered at a level of instruction similar to that in an undergraduate college.

The admissions process is a rolling admissions process, and students are admitted throughout the year. All applicants are required to submit an application for admission, letters of recommendation, and a non-refundable application fee. An application and enrollment packet will be provided upon request.

Students enrolling for continuing education units (C.E.U.’s) or non-credit courses are required to submit a personal information document only; there are no educational requirements for continuing education or non-credit admissions. Normally, the courses and seminars which are offered for continuing education are of a general nature and are taught at a level similar to an adult Christian Education program in most congregations. Certificates of individual course completions are awarded upon request.

Continuous Enrollment

Students may enroll in a course of study at Christian College of Georgia at any time of the year. The Institute for Christian Ministry offers courses in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.

The College encourages students to follow the academic calendar as closely as possible, as this calendar offers structure to the individual’s course of study and contributes to a sense of community among the learners who are engaged in the process. Furthermore, there are opportunities for group study which will enhance learning and enrich community.

Still, a student should to enroll when he or she is ready; therefore, a continuous process of enrollment and registration is provided. If there is a pre-requisite for enrolling in a course, that is noted in the course catalog. A student desiring to enroll in a course without having completed the pre-requisite will need to have the permission of the course instructor.

The application for enrollment must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the scheduled class.
